David Wolf is the editor and has been the commissioning editor of the Guardian’s Long Read since the section was founded in 2014. During that time, he has edited pieces on a wide variety of subjects, from profiles of the French President and the world’s greatest casting director, to narratives about Hong Kong and the theft of the world’s smallest lily. Before he joined the Guardian, David was Arts & Books editor of Prospect Magazine. He has written for the Guardian, Observer, Prospect, Slate and the New Republic.
