Mads Brügger

Born in Copenhagen, 1972. Danish journalist, author and filmmaker. BA in Movie and Media Science, Copenhagen University. Former head of programming, Radio24syv. Author of several non fiction books; “Grænselandet”, “Ingen Kender Dagen”, “Abemanden”, “Klovnekrigen” and “11.11.11”. Director of several documentaries including “The Red Chapel” (winner of Grand Jury Award at Sundance Film Festival, 2010), “The Ambassador” (winner of Robertprisen, best documentary, 2012) and “Cold Case Hammarskjöld” (winner of best director, Sundance Film Festival, 2019). Director of fiction feature film “The St Bernard Syndicate” (winner of best male actor and best script, Tribeca, 2018).
